I grew up in North Dakota and moved to Houston in 1997 to attend PA school.  By my second winter here, I knew I wouldn't leave!  I knew from an early age that I was fascinated with biology and the essence of life.  Initially, I focused on a career in research, but then realized I would miss interacting with people too much.  My career as a PA has been a perfect mix.  It is rewarding to know that I have been able to help someone feel better and get back to life.  It is my promise to treat patients with compassion, dedication, and professionalism.

Most of my time is spent seeing patients in clinic: completing history & physical exams, ordering & reviewing diagnostic exams, and occasionally initiating treatment plans.  I may assist Dr. Bonnen when his surgical PA is unavailable.
